How Golf Balls are Made
I am sitting here at a driving range and wondering how golf balls are made? After seeing a cracked golf ball I often wondered how golf balls were made, so I did a little research. I found out that golf balls are made starting with a block of rubber that forms the solid core. The peg-like rubber pieces are then molded into their final round form. Automated equipment puts the core into the halves of the cover. Then over to a press to get molded together, mold in the balls dimple patterns and gets painted and stamped.
